Event Details
Postural rearrangement aims to improve body shape to return its functionality.
Effective tool to improve posture, gain elasticity, improve sports performance, prevent injuries, eliminate pain and improve-increase the quality of life.
It offers a proposal for body harmonization in which it will try to correct the postural shape, affected due to repetitive movements and erroneous postures.
It works from the premise of balance between the different muscle chains.
METHODOLOGY
Works on stretching the most retracted muscle chains.
Initial assessment of biomechanical misalignments (muscular shortening, rotation of the upper and/or lower limbs) and analysis of body discrepancies (differences in limb length).
This method uses original self-massages (with rolling and others) and stretching (of muscle chains and yin yoga) to correct asymmetries and body misalignments.

An example of some of the exercises we will do:
SELF-MASSAGE TO ELIMINATE MUSCLE CONTRACTURES BETWEEN THE SHOULDER BLADES (PARAVERTEBRAL MUSCULATURE)
With this self-massage you can easily eliminate a large part of the aches, pains and muscle contractures with a ball, which is located in the upper part of the back, specifically between the shoulder blades.
Frequently, these discomforts and stiffness appear as a consequence of our daily activity and work and are the result of our bad postural habits at work, staying static sitting in a chair for many hours, especially in office work with screens, and even due to excessive repetitive movement, or sports physical activity.
CONTENT OF THE WORKSHOPS:
Saturday 3rd of February
SOLVE PAIN, STIFFNESS AND MUSCLE SHORTENING OF THE LUMBAR BACK, THORACIC from the feet and some CERVICAL * (The specific work of Cervical will be carried out in the 2nd Workshop for THE UPPER BACK).
This work is very beneficial for people who suffer: recurring or chronic pain in the lower back, pain in the inner leg (adductors and groins) due to shortening of the psoas and adductors. It is possible that in many cases, these discomforts are associated with sports such as running, cycling.
We will work on shortening the posterior chain (back, legs) and adductors chain (adductors, psoas, diaphragm).

Sunday 4th of February
SOLVE PAIN, STIFFNESS AND MUSCLE SHORTENING OF THE UPPER BACK, CERVICAL, NECK, ARMS AND HANDS (upper trapezius, spinal erectors, paravertebrals, rhomboids, levator scapulae, serratus, diaphragm and inspiratory muscles (scalene, sternocleidus mastoid), hands and arms.
We will work the 4 muscle chains that include arms, hands and upper back.
We will talk about the importance of breathing, the diaphragm, the inspiratory block and the effect of stress on the contraction of all our muscles, especially the ones we will see in this workshop.
The influence of the shortening of the posterior chain and adductor chain (back, legs, adductors, psoas, diaphragm) seen in the first workshop and anterior chain (diaphragm, quadriceps) will also be reviewed.
This job is very beneficial for people who suffer from: recurring headaches, tension headaches, pain in the shoulder, forearms and hands area such as office staff, butchers, mechanics, factory chain operators, hairdressers, anyone who works with hands and arms without support sitting or standing.
From the understanding of Holistics and Osteopathy, the fascial release work we do in this area may release emotional blockages. The interscapular zone is a reflex zone corresponding to the chest in the front part of the body and in it vivid and felt emotions are somatized that can remain fixed and crystallized in the physical body in the form of muscular contractures.
BENEFITS THAT REPORTS YOU:
Understand the origin of your pain.
Ability to manage and solve your pain and discomfort, tension and muscle stiffness by yourself.
Prevent injuries.
Gain elasticity and physical well-being.
Improve your body posture, gaining height and slenderness.
Improve body symmetry and thus prevent the appearance of future injuries and wear, degenerative joint pathologies.
Improve your quality of life.
CONTENTS:
The routines of this method are original self-massages (with rolling and others) and stretching (of muscle chains and yin yoga).
Routines facilitate muscle and joint self-maintenance to correct asymmetries and body misalignments, with short and medium-term benefits.
NECESSARY MATERIALS:
It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing, long pants and socks.
OBJECTIVES:
Priority: Prevent injuries by improving body posture and ergonomics, correcting postural defects and body asymmetries. It puts the focus on the work of problems of the locomotor system and lack of elasticity.
This course you will learn healthy routines in an easy and enjoyable way with which:
• Gain elasticity and symmetry in order to improve your posture and your physical well-being.
• Prevent injuries and guarantee your well-being and quality of life.
• Improve your health and relax.
• Become aware of postural habits.
• Prevention and correction of incorrect postures that we carry out in daily and professional work.
• Learn basic posture routines for each day.
• Postural hygiene in daily acts: sleeping, driving, working, walking…
Another example of some of the exercises that we will do during the workshops:
SELF-MASSAGE FOR GLUTEUS AND PYRAMIDAL SYNDROME
With this self-massage you will almost or completely eliminate tension and muscular contraction of the gluteus and the sensation of sciatica, which in almost 85% of cases is not sciatica as such but rather pyramidal syndrome or false sciatica. Sometimes, just releasing this muscle contracture releases the sciatic nerve trapped by tension in the external rotator muscles of the hip, especially the piriformis. WHAT WILL THIS COURSE TEACH YOU?
THIS COURSE WILL TEACH YOU HEALTHY ROUTINES with which to ELIMINATE PERSISTENT CHRONIC AND ACUTE PAIN.
YOU WILL LEARN TO RELEASE TENSION AND MUSCLE SHORTENING THANKS TO STRETCHING OF MUSCLE CHAINS AND MYOFASCIAL SELF-MASSAGES OF THE MUSCLE CHAINS INVOLVED IN THE BIOMECHANICAL MISADJUSTMENT OR MISALIGNMENT THAT GIVES RISE TO PAIN IN A SPECIFIC AREA.
The biomechanical misalignments produced by the alterations of the muscular chains are a source of stress in the joints and one of the most important causes of their degeneration (cartilage, intervertebral discs, etc). Knowing the Muscular Chains and their relationship with Biomechanical Misalignments or Misalignments is essential to be able to understand what is happening in our body and what is the origin of the bodily imbalance that causes us discomfort.
Biomechanical misalignments are capable of affecting organic functionality and also affect the musculoskeletal system in a very important way. These misalignments are a source of stress on the joints and one of the most important causes of their degeneration (cartilage, intervertebral discs, etc.).
Postural rearrangement arises as a response to redirect these biomechanical alterations and restore symmetry to the body, bringing it back to the equilibrium position to avoid the disastrous consequences of body misalignments.
Postural rearrangement aims to improve body shape to return its functionality.
Through the analysis of body discrepancies (differences in the length of the extremities), this method uses original self-massages and stretching to correct asymmetries and bodily misalignments, which are the point of origin of your pain and discomfort. These asymmetries are caused by anteriorizations, rotations of different parts of the body (hip, shoulder), as well as muscle shortening (contractures).
This method works on the balance and harmonization between the anterior axis and the posterior axis of the body, as well as the right and left part of the body (sagittal, frontal and transversal plane), which allows us to assess and correct shoulder and hip rotations, muscular shortening of the legs, lowering of the shoulders and antepulsions and retropulsions of the shoulders.

Who teaches?
My name is Isabel Rodriguez. I have a degree in different methods of postural correction and yoga. I was trained in several postural improvement techniques: Postural Reordering and body awareness, SGA (Active Global Streching of Global Postural Reordering). These methods work based on Muscular Linkages, since there is muscular and fascial continuity throughout the body. I also trained in two different types of yoga, Hatha Raja Yoga (yang yoga) and Yin Yoga.
Hatha Yoga, which is an active yoga that applied for the therapeutic purpose of postural alignment “direct and hold” sometimes demanding postures, and Yin Yoga for deeper work at the fascial level from muscle relaxation and passivity, “letting go“
Founder, director and manual therapist of Oriental Harmony, a massage center specializing in world massages and oriental techniques, chiromassage and energy release massage and postural therapy.
My work integrates postural therapy with manual therapy for the change towards a better health and well-being of the locomotor system.
